This has been a great semester in engineering. There are so many different things that I learned this semester in engineering that made me enjoy it so much. One of the things I learned this semester that was very interesting to me was SolidWorks. SolidWorks was such an interesting program to me when I was introduced to it because I used to work with Google SketchUp and it reminded me of those days. Although SolidWorks was amazing to learn this year there was so much more I learned throughout this year that made me feel like I deserve an A in this class. I grew most in computer aided design throughout this semester. I feel like I grew most in this content area group because I worked on SolidWorks a lot this semester. My creative side came out a lot when using SolidWorks because I realized while creating my prototype in the program that there are so many different features that will allow me to create a product on SolidWorks that looks very similar to my prototype. A cross disciplinary goal I grew in throughout this semester is collaboration. I always had to use collaboration and I feel like I did well with it, but this semester I feel like I made an extra effort to make my collaboration a lot better. My collaboration did get a lot better and it definitely impacted how my project turned out. I went into the innovation project with the mindset that I will collaborate well with my group and I definitely did well. My biggest goal I set for this semester was to complete all my work with my best effort possible. This goal was definitely reached because I asked the teacher a lot more this year to get the best work done possible. I wish I grew more in social and emotional growth because I feel like I did not form as many relationships with some peers. I now realize that if I would have connected with other peers they could have possibly benefited me in other ways throughout this semester. This was a great semester and I learned so much, I will definitely be missing this next semester.
